# Cryptocurrency

> Pay with crypto through a secure hosted flow.

Where your dealer supports it, you can pay with cryptocurrency.

## Full payment only

<Warning>
  Crypto covers the **entire remaining balance** of your order. It cannot be combined with another payment method.

## Limits

| ------- | -------- |
| Minimum | \$0.50   |
| Maximum | \$50,000 |

If your order total falls outside that range, crypto will not be offered. For a vehicle above \$50,000, use [bank transfer](/buyer-docs/pay/ach).

## How it works

Unlike a card, this uses a redirect. You do not enter any payment details in checkout.

<Note>
  The redirect is expected, not an error. Ekho never handles your crypto directly, which is what keeps the transaction secure.
</Note>

## Practical notes

* **Do not close the page** during the redirect. Let it return you to checkout.
* **Crypto values move.** The amount is fixed at the point of payment.
* **Confirmation depends on the network**, so it may not be instant.
