# Custom purchase links

> Shareable URLs that drop a buyer into checkout with the deal already built.

A custom purchase link is a URL that takes a buyer straight into checkout with a specific vehicle, price, and accessories already configured. You build one in the Admin Portal in a few minutes, with no website changes and no IT involvement.

## What you can set

| Feature                     | What it does                                                                  |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pre-configured vehicle** | The exact model, trim, and accessories the buyer sees |
| **Custom discount** | A fixed amount, a percentage, or special financing, applied only to this link |
| **Single-use or multi-use** | One buyer, or unlimited for a campaign                                        |
| **Buyer pre-fill**          | Pre-populate name and email for a personal outreach                           |
| **Salesperson attribution** | Credit the sale to a specific rep |
| **Source identifier** | Tag the link so you can see which channel produced sales |

## How it works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the link">
    Configure vehicle, pricing, accessories, and settings in the Admin Portal.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share it">
    Website, email, social, text, an ad, or a QR code on print.
  </Step>

  <Step title="The buyer clicks">
    They land in checkout with your configuration already loaded.
  </Step>

  <Step title="They complete the purchase">
    Exactly like any other checkout.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You see what worked">
    Compare links by source to find which channels actually sell.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What they are good for

* **Ad destinations.** Fully attributable, unlike sending traffic to a general page.
* **Individual outreach.** A rep texts a buyer a link with their configuration and name pre-filled.
* **Time-boxed offers.** A discount that only exists on this link, without touching your general pricing.
* **Print and events.** A QR code that opens a real checkout.

<Tip>
  Give every channel its own link and source tag. Then "which of our marketing works?" becomes a question you can answer from data rather than opinion.
</Tip>

<Note>
  A link-specific discount applies only to buyers using that link, so you can run an aggressive offer on one campaign without repricing your inventory.
