## The metric cards

| Card                          | What it shows                                                   |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Total orders** | Every order in your system, all stages, cumulative since launch |
| **Active orders** | Orders currently in progress. Your live pipeline |
| **Revenue this month** | Current calendar month, resetting on the 1st |
| **Leads requiring follow-up** | Abandoned carts, financing rejections, and in-person requests |

<Tip>
  **Leads requiring follow-up** is the most actionable number on the page. Those buyers were mid-purchase and stopped. See [nurturing leads](/sales-agent/grow/nurture-leads).
</Tip>

## Trends

* **Orders over time** — daily volume for the last 30 days, for spotting patterns
* **Revenue trend** — daily and weekly revenue
* **Conversion funnel** — where in the buyer journey people drop off

The funnel is the one worth studying. A consistent drop at a particular step is usually something you can fix.

## Recent activity

A chronological feed of new orders, payments received, action items completed, leads generated, and order status changes. Useful for a quick sense of whether anything unusual is happening.

## Time periods

Most metrics can be filtered by period, from today through longer ranges. **Today** is a real-time view for spotting immediate problems; longer ranges are for judging trends.

<Tip>
  Do not read too much into a single day. Vehicle sales are low-volume and high-value, so daily numbers are noisy. Weekly and monthly views are where the signal is.
