# Website platforms

> How Ekho works with the common dealer website providers.

Ekho reads your website to enrich inventory, and installs the [Buy Now button](/transaction-engine/embed/buy-now-button) and [chat assistant](/sales-agent/get-started/install-on-your-website) onto your existing pages.

## Supported platforms

| Platform              | What Ekho does                                                                                  |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Dealer Spike** | Syncs inventory content from your site. Has a header/footer code area for the script |
| **PixelMotion** | Syncs inventory content from your site |
| **Dealer Accelerate** | Syncs inventory content from your site |
| **Motion** | Syncs inventory content from your site |
| **Shopify** | See [Shopify](/transaction-engine/integrations/shopify) for checkout integration and order sync |

You do not need a supported platform. Ekho can read most dealer websites, and the script tag works anywhere you can add code.

## Installing the script

Two approaches, in order of preference:

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Google Tag Manager">
    Best option, because you never touch your site's source and you can preview before publishing. See [install on your website](/sales-agent/get-started/install-on-your-website).

    <Warning>
      If your GTM container is shared across several sites, scope the trigger to the specific hostname rather than using All Pages.
    </Warning>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Platform code area">
    Most platforms have a header or footer code injection area. Paste the script there and it loads site-wide.

    On **Dealer Spike** this is the **Tracking Component**.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## What Ekho reads from your site

Photos, descriptions, features, and pricing, used to enrich what comes from your DMS.

Which source wins per field is up to you. See [import and sync](/transaction-engine/inventory/import-and-sync).

<Tip>
  Website content is usually better than DMS content for photos and descriptions, and worse for price and availability. Set precedence accordingly.
</Tip>

## Where Buy Now appears

On your search results and vehicle detail pages, for units that are published **and** enabled for online sale.

Some templates leave no natural place for an extra button; a call-to-action injection is the fallback. Talk to your Ekho contact about the best approach for your platform.
