# Dealership settings

> Business details, hours, and your bank account.

Under **Account settings**. These affect your whole dealership, not just your login.

## Business details

| Field                | Notes                                                                        |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Business name** | How you are referred to |
| **Legal name** | Appears on contracts. Must match your registration exactly |
| **Legal address** | Registered address, used on contracts and filings |
| **Physical address** | Where the dealership is. Drives tax jurisdiction, pickup, and buyer distance |
| **Primary contact** | Name, title, phone, email |
| **Website URL** | Used for buyer-facing links and read by the Sales Agent |

<Warning>
  Your **physical address** drives jurisdiction-level tax calculation. A wrong one produces wrong tax on real orders, which is a compliance problem rather than a cosmetic one.
</Warning>

## Business hours and timezone

The hours your customer support line is available.

<Info>
  Hours are used by the Sales Agent's Context section and by [lead routing](/sales-agent/crm/lead-routing) escalation timers. Appointment availability comes from a connected calendar. See [appointment scheduling](/sales-agent/skills/scheduling).
</Info>

## Bank account

Where Ekho pays your sale proceeds.

Connect through **Plaid** using your business online banking credentials, or enter routing and account numbers manually if Plaid does not support your bank.

<Tip>
  Plaid is worth using beyond convenience: it changes **when** balance payments are released, generally moving your largest payment days earlier. See [how you get paid](/transaction-engine/payments/how-you-get-paid).
</Tip>

Use your business operating account, not a personal one.

<Warning>
  If entering details manually, check the routing and account numbers twice. A mistake means payouts fail or land in the wrong place, and that is slow to unwind.
</Warning>
