You will photograph your government-issued ID, usually a driver’s licence, and take a selfie so it can be matched to the ID.This is not bureaucracy for its own sake. It is what stops someone buying a vehicle in your name, and it is legally required.
Use your phone in good light, lay the ID flat on a plain surface, and make sure all four corners are in frame with no glare. Most failures are a reflection off the licence.
Federal safety law applies. For adult ATVs above 200cc you must confirm the intended rider is at least 16, acknowledge the safety requirements, and give the rider’s date of birth before ordering. You will also provide the rider’s name and relationship to you during registration, and a rider age acknowledgment form is included in your documents.
This is federal law, not a dealer policy, and it cannot be skipped. If the intended rider is under 16, an adult ATV is not a legal purchase for them.
