Leads are created directly in Salesforce over its API. No email destinations. This is the most involved CRM integration, because Salesforce requires a Connected App on your side.

What you need

  • A Salesforce administrator who can create a Connected App
  • The credentials that app produces
Set this up with your Salesforce admin. It needs org-level permissions that a standard user does not have.

Set it up

1

Create a Connected App in Salesforce

Your Salesforce admin creates a Connected App enabled for OAuth, and records the credentials it issues.
2

Open the Salesforce sub-page

Resource settings β†’ Integrations β†’ CRM β†’ Salesforce.
3

Authorize

Enter the credentials and complete the OAuth authorization to link Ekho to your Salesforce org.
4

Confirm field mapping

Check that Ekho’s lead fields land on the right Salesforce fields for your org.
5

Save and test

Trigger a test lead and confirm it lands in Salesforce with the fields populated.

Troubleshooting

Because this is a direct API integration, a Salesforce-side permission change can break forwarding without anything changing in Ekho. If leads stop arriving, check the connection status first.
